Totally agree. And at the risk of making it a bit of a chicken and egg story, one could even argue that moving to 8F was precisely intended to make Avios F a whole lot harder. In other words, it was difficult for BA to fill in a cabin of 14F with the sort of yield that they really wanted, and reducing the cabin to 8 was precisely intended to ensure that going forward, most of those 8F will be filled by high fare paid F pax at the expense of the avios bookings and "cheap" promotional A fares which were arguably used to ensure the cabin would be filled (to the joy of that very flyertalk community which saw no contradiction in jumping on those "bargain" F seats whilst criticising the quality of the product that came with it! ).
