And W too, as of June this year. So the guaranteed release is 2 seats in WTP (so longhaul only), 4 seats in Club, 8 in Traveller. The Club and Traveller numbers are the same for shorthaul.
But yes, the underlying message is keep looking, but if there is just one seat left BA may well seek a late speculative First purchase for it rather than Avios. When looking at this, you have to consider the whole aircraft and whether BA can sell a high value Club or World Traveller ticket - this can have an impact on First seating since BA could effectively sell a £4,000 Club ticket and bump up a £1,000 club passenger to make way for this, and this is soooo much nicer for BA than entertaining one Avios redemption in First. With First now down to 8 seats this, and it being a mainly 2 travellers together transaction, Avios and First is just a whole lot harder.
