Do BA release additional avios seats in F in the last few days prior to departure?

I appreciate that F seat redemptions are harder to come by currently (with the loss of the 747s, slow reintroduction of the A380, and most of the 777 fleet moving from 14 to 8 seats at the pointy-end of the aircraft), but I was wondering if BA are likely to release any unsold seats in F for Avios redemption (or upgrade) in the final few days before departure? 2 weeks out, and the F cabin on my LHR-JFK flight is showing 6 seats occupied, and 2 free on EF (reinforced by the availability still showing F2 A0 J7 C5 D2 R0 I0 W9 E9 T0 Y9 B9 H9 K9 M9 L9 V9 S9 N9 Q0 O0 G0), so I was wondering if BA are likely to get to a point where they will open up Avios availability, or just leave these as unsold right up to the last minute?
