I for one, am in favor of the changes.

For me the digital card has worked fine in getting access to check-in, lounges, etc. And the luggage tags they send out yearly get added to the pile in the cupboard from past year.

Though I do agree that having a plastic card upon request may be a good transition phase for those preferring a physical card.

I believe DL only gives cards out to Platinum and above, so FB is going one level higher in this case.
