AA awards to/from Europe for next summer are non-existent. Any word on if they will release them at some point? They stop abruptly on May 31, nothing after that. I have been watching daily since this last summer and they have never been there, so I don't think it's a supply issue. This isn’t BA. Simply put AA doesn’t release J inventory in advance during peak travel times. BA does because that’s a commitment they made in their program (and they can collect a lot of YQ, oh, and the inventory is almost gone now that UK citizens can enter the US).
There’s been plenty of inventory at non peak times. I’m in London right now on an AA 156/155 J award (SEA-LHR-SEA). But no, they’re not going to give away what they think they can sell.
