On 'View from the Wing' today, there was a blurb about a possible partnership with Tahiti Airlines. Tahiti either flies or is going to fly to Sydney. IF both things happen, there will be a way to use Skymiles to get to Australia.
DL has announced it is engaged in talks with Air Tahiti Nui and they specifically mention routes to Auckland and Sydney. All I hope is that they will allow upgrades!!! I am not taking such long flights in Y!
