If other AS transcon service is anything to go by (thinking specifically about JFK and FLL here), AS will price F at $1399 or $1499 one way, and rarely if ever discount it, or support instant-upgrade fares, or one-way mileage redemption at any rate other than 90K miles... all for a far less than premium hard product.
AA's F is a similar hard product (by which I simply mean no lie-flats), but is usually available at half that price.
Having flown AA transcon in F, the product is not the same, AA has much less room and their usual grumpy service. I agree that AS overprices F on transcons, however, just this morning I was able to book PDX-JFK and JFK-SFO and use GGU's for a pretty inexpensive ride in F.
