It wasn't that recent, but in June a few years ago, I was able to get a standard room at the Ritz in New Orleans (that i used a cert to upgrade to club level) for ~$269/night for 5 nights.

But in regards to the recent uptick in pricing, I have seen NICE FL hotels (Marriott/JW/Ritz/Autograph and Hilton/Waldorf/Curio) tacking on an extra points/night for point redemptions later this year and next year and the cash prices are somewhat ludicrous.

It certainly seems like they are trying to recoup from the devastation the pandemic induced, albeit maybe a little too aggressively IMHO.
