This is total crap. I assume other PMs got this change. So now to go from JFK-LAX, I used to be able to use my FC companion certificate to get D1. They got rid of that months back.

Now with my RUCs I buy Main Cabin and am upgraded to Premium Select (Assuming a 767-400) and waitlisted for D1. What a hilarious joke.

Beginning February 1, 2022, all newly selected Upgrade Certificates must be redeemed in the Medallion Year associated with that Choice Benefit selection, and any new or existing certificates can only be upgraded to one cabin above the purchased ticket.
