BA avoiding Cuban airspace - any ideas why?

I noticed on FlightRadar24 that on Tuesday BA253 Nassau - Grand Cayman took a very long detour around Cuba, taking about 2 hours rather than the normal 1h and a bit. The return BA252 did the same. Today BA2203 LGW-CUN also appears to avoiding Cuban airspace, and tonight's BA253 is scheduled to leave NAS on time, but arrive in GCM about an hour late. Does anyone know why? It doesn't appear to be weather and I've not seen any adverse news about Cuba.
