Yes, but it's more than one step. From an LIRR train, you go up to a lower mezzanine. There are elevators/escalators from the lower mezzanine to 34th Street. If you want to exit on 7th Avenue or 32nd Street, you would ride from the lower mezzanine to the upper mezzanine, and then from the upper mezzanine to street level.
