Tools to protect oneself from covid are readily available and I am no longer concerned at all about people who refuse to use them.
Any disease is potentially deadly. The vaccines level the playing field between covid and other diseases in that regard. (*Even if not perfectly level, level enough. I'm not going to quibble over fractions of a percentage.)
