I always book for two even when it's a solo trip and don't feel guilty about it. I look at it like I'm paying the same rate as if I had two people in the room and not costing Hilton as much in housekeeping expenses. Most of my stays are business stays at a higher room rate than a lot of people that have the status through a credit card on lesiure travel. Plenty of leisure travels have taken advantage of free breakfast for family members when the T&C state is only for two guests.

Hilton should just make it per room instead of per guest to simplify things. Wouldn't surprise me though if this new benefit continues if they just start charging for additional guests in the room to cover the cost of the additional credit.
