A middle pair in old Club World, on indeed face to face would be my choice if you were hoping to chat or interact beyond the odd attention grab.
(That image link doesn't resolve.) Is it worse than on other 1-2-1 configurations (e.g., AA, CX, new QF, non-Qsuite QR, etc.)?
