I agree they shouldn’t advertise it. But this post is kind of like complaining you knew the Nigerian Prince was fake, but sent him a $10,000 Moneygram anyway. AA Flagship wasn’t good before and it’s still not good now. Should it be better? Maybe. Should you have expected it to get better just in time for your flight? Probably not.
I don't see it as getting better, the OP is just asking why it isn't as it's advertised, and it should be. Yes, it's a complaint but a valid one. You are buying a product well beyond getting from point A to B, think Kia vs Mercedes. Companies should be held to the standards they are advertising and the pandemic excuse is wearing thin.
