I'm a non-elite staying solo in a basic Fairmont King room so Gold level, upgrades, and suite amenities aren't applicable concerns but wanted to ask what guests thought of the hotel during these challenging times, pool access, bag check, lounges & dining, etc.
I haven't stayed there recently, but I did eat there a couple of weeks ago before going to a Leaf game. Things seemed to be operating close to normal, as far as having things available are concerned. They still have the side entrance from York Street closed off, which was a minor inconvenience, as I guess they want to better control who comes and goes. You will need to show proof of vaccination for just about anything other than staying the night. Vaccination proof is required to enter a restaurant, any event spaces, or the pool and health club (which is pretty much the case for anywhere in Ontario).
