I see the Aspire is often recommended as the spend goes towards Hilton base points.

To get to Lifetime Diamond I need
2 million base points. I currently have 840,000 base points earned over 20 years.
I have more than 10 years Diamond.
I have 800, or so, paid and reward stays. It seems I need a 1000.

On reflection it looks like I should concentrate on getting the additional 200 and just stick with Reserve.

Opinions/advice welcomed.
Your stats are close to mine. I don't pay any attention to the base points milestones. I'm a road warrior with 80% of my nights at Hamptons and HGIs. Looking at my 2021 activity, I'm at 43 award points earned per dollar spent, then another 14 points per dollar spent via the Aspire card, I'm at 57 points earned per dollar spent at Hilton properties. We earn and burn the points... averaging 1 award night per 7 paid nights. I'm happy with that ratio.

I have the Aspire solely for my Hilton spend (additional 14 points/dollar). I use the resort credit, airline credit, and free night reward every year. Works well for us.

We keep all of our non-hotel spending on a Chase Ink Business card. Their rewards are more to our benefit (25% bonus if booking travel through portal and with partners, or straight 1% cash back on all purchases). The healthy sign-on bonus was a big deciding factor, too.
