When SQ rolled out the new reserve value logic, some people didn't get the reserve value acknowledged and SQ claimed that PPS reserve value is not PPS Solitaire reserve value.
The issue has been fixed and when I qualified for PPS Solitaire, my PPS reserve value became PPS Solitaire reserve value.
Also: you become PPS Solitaire for the remainder of your current membership year plus full 12 months. I requalified for PPS in June 2021 and became PPS Solitaire in August 2021. Status is good till June 2023.
Thanks for sharing as I have dropped an email to KF last year and did not hear back from them at all. This is indeed very useful information including the the membership year computation. I am thinking of taking advantage of the 15% bonus miles to do some crediting of miles to the KF account. However, it will end up pushing my status to Solitaire. If the reserve value is going to be "lost", it may not be worthwhile for me to do so, given that travel is still limited and I am going to have difficulties in renewing the status, if I choose to do so next year.
