But... at the LXR, the credits applied automatically (except manually for the next morning charges), except for the tip which showed as tip on the in-room view of the folio.

At the Conrad, none of the 5 days had the credits apply automatically. In-room view of the folio just showed "Sales tax" with the total charges for each place.
At checkout, they removed all the charges except the tips, which then showed up separate on the printed receipt.
