OP, the first time I saw "clase ejecutiva" (I was a child; I now speak Spanish), I was similarly confused but it is indeed the common Spanish-language term for business class. Maybe CUN's BP printer is set up to print it that way. But there is no actual product called "Executive Class" in English on AA.
When I hear the pitch nowadays I am tempted to ask if they'd like a call back in four hours with the answer.

I can understand the financial motivation for FAs but they have enough on their plates as it is between The Company, their union, pax, and a stressed system so in truth I think it's better just to stare profusely at the empty spot formerly occupied by American Way as they wind through the aisles.
