A State of Emergency has today been declared in Ethiopia.

I wonder if this will affect flights into and out of Addis Ababa airport.

I have a flight through Addis at the end of the month so I'll be watching events closely.

If the airport is closed, then do you think Ethiopian would refund the cost of the ticket or transfer it to another member of Star Alliance?
