Does anyone have any experience of Fairmont Gold at the Fairmont Amman? Never stayed at any Fairmont before. Two things I cannot figure out...

1. Is it worth it at this property? The blurb has lounge access and a spa discount as the only benefits, so if the lounge is closed it seems fairly useless, but maybe there is a better floor (I'm ALL Gold so no other benefits)

2. I ony seem to be able to book Fairmont Gold rates directly with the hotel on its own sub-website, there's no mention of it on the main ALL site, nor any breakfast-inclusive rates, weirdly - in fact the packages and rates for my dates are totally different except for the lowest-category advanced purchase. Another Accor IT eccentricity?
