Turned out to merely be a dox check. I had all the proper paperwork and was on my way in less than two minutes with boarding passes for the entire journey. Got the battlefield upgrade to biz on the A321T, that was nice!
Of course, at JFK, some clown at the check-in desk tried to tell me I needed a passenger locator form to enter Spain and that the Spain Travel Health QR code that lets people enter Spain wasn't good enough. I told him the QR code is the PLF for Spain, you have to fill out the form to get it. It took a few minutes to get someone with some actual knowledge to walk up and wave me through. I swear, this ratchet-azz airline sometimes...!
