I’ve been forced down the non-dairy route (unwillingly) by allergies.
I use unsweetened almond milk on my morning oatmeal/porridge, mostly because I realised by having it with oat milk I was have oats covered in oats with a sprinkling of granola (more oats) on top…
For coffee, oat milk is definitely the least worst option and foams best in a cappuccino/flat white, particularly the Oatly Barista version (or the 3 other barista foaming oatmilks my local supermarket now offers

). But it’s really no substitute for full fat milk and I find myself drinking my coffee black 90% of the time.
