Hi everyone. I rarely post as I haven't been travelling in a while. I am planning a trip to Toronto later this month, for which I need to hire a car. Avis is my go-to rental company as I am a Preferred member and they tend to give me the best upgrades, but they aren't making it easy to give them my business. When searching for a rental for my desired dates, I get the following message:

The Rental Location selected is closed (Holiday / Seasonal Hours).

I find it hard to believe that an airport location would be closed for a rental pick up at midday, so this seems to be a technical issue. I tried to search for alternative dates and times around my rental, but I still get the same result. I also searched on sites such as Kayak.com, and cannot find any pricing from Avis. Has anyone else encountered such an issue? I called Avis today but ended up getting disconnected by the agent who insisted that the station is closed.

Has anyone encountered this before? I sent Avis customer services an email, though given my past experiences with their customer services team, I am not expecting much of a response.
