The thing with reviews of hotels in the Maldives is that the Maldives are simply amazing. If you don't have anything to compare it to, you'll be blown away regardless. That's why you can basically forget about Tripadvisor, as for most people, it's a once in a lifetime experience. I always appreciate reviews of people who have been to several hotels in the Maldives. After reading that Facebook review, I'm going to give this a pass, at least until we have more reviews, ideally from people who have also been to the St. Regis, WA, etc.
