So glad I stumbled upon this thread while trying to find out info about whether I could use one of my 5 remaining eMed tests for my husband. I noticed upthread that a few people had been able to do this, but could someone please confirm and tell me exactly what I'm supposed to do. I know he will have to download the Navica app, but does he need to do anything else before using the test? (i.e. some kind of online registering before hand?)

I had no idea about the expiration issue. I tried to follow the link in the wiki but that only takes you to the eMed website, where if you hit the link about expiration it's just a letter (no lot numbers). I found another PDF link upthread that had the lot numbers, but mine weren't on there. My original expiration date is Sept. 2021, which infuriates me as this date is before I ordered my tests in early October, and I received nothing about expired boxes and three month extensions. I'd planned on using the tests in November and December, but my December date is after the 21st so now possibly useless. After my November trip, I will be requesting a refund for unused tests.

The same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago when I did my test. I was very confused as I thought you had to use the Navica app, but it seems as if I could have done the whole thing on my computer?
