I stay at both quite a lot (double figure stays at each this year!) and generally prefer the Sheraton. I tend to find the Sheraton are much more generous with upgrades (if available) as well. Location wise they're both decent - County Hall for the South Bank/London Eye/Westminster (it's about 15-20mins to walk to Covent Garden), whereas the Sheraton is good for Mayfair/Green Park/Knightsbridge. But to be honest, if you don't mind walking or the tube they both work really well.
