This is fascinating. Has this always been the case that the front desk/computer will mark you as no-show for post-midnight check-in? Years ago (circa 2013-2014) I was commuting fairly regularly to a couple of Hyatt Place locations where I would check-in after midnight due to flight schedules. I don't think I ever encountered this, did the properties just adjust it for me on the spot or is this a newer thing?
