We have 10 major domestic airlines in the United States - not counting the regionals. How many more are needed before it is competitive?
If the US domestic market supported a Mercedes-Benz of the skies - certainly someone would have launched that. Your poor service in the skies is a result of US leisure and corporate companies demanding low fares buying habits. Alternatives exist - charter/private.
