I just got a text from united that my flight (6036 IAD-->MIA on 11/10) was canceled. I look at alternate options and the flight isn't bookable, so I figure out my best alternate plan and call UA. The agent says that the website is having issues and that the flight isn't canceled. He says they're having website issues and give it 24 hours and this'll be resolved.
I've had United cancel a few flights before. I've never had them tell me a flight we canceled when it wasn't. Is this actually real? Or should I HUCA and book my alternate flight?
Since trip is 11/10 you do have enough time to wait 24 hrs then call and rebook if flights still show canceled.
