I have a severe nut allergy, carry an Epi-Pen, etc. It's not a joke. When I travel I assume that there will be nothing I can eat on board. I don't board a flight hungry, and take pre-packaged snacks that are safe for me to eat--even on a short flight. It's called having some personal responsibility rather than being a drama llama.
