Admittedly it's been about 2 years since I last flew KLM to Germany, but I was surprised when I just checked in for a flight tomorrow that I had to provide ID document data for all passengers. It's a simple AMS-NUE flight, so 100% intra Schengen. Is this a new thing?

Needless to say, KLM's stellar IT made me fill in all data again (including my contact information) for all passengers, even though all passengers are Flying Blue members and have all this data in their profile.
