I went in August of this year and was told that they don't participate in the "upgrade" bonus. I was not given a breakfast credit either. Perhaps this was because it was on an award stay but my room overlooked the swimming pool eventhough I am Titanium Elite.
Unless things have changed, breakfast is not a benefit for ritz carlton.
