I certainly agree. On one MIA-LAX flight it was J4 at T-2, J2 at T-1 & J0 at T-30. I was #1 on the waitlist right down to T-1 then dropped to #2.

I waited for group 2 boarding & when my boarding pass was scanned it popped up with an incorrect seat error. He reached down and handed me a J seat assignment. It was nice to get the op-up. I was assigned a D seat. A couple traveling together had G & J in the same row and asked if I would mind moving to the J window seat. Happy to oblige. Meal orders were taken back to front so I was the first passenger to choose. A trifecta!
