Eligible AAdvantageŽ Miles include all base miles you earn, as well as elite bonus and cabin bonus miles you earn from flying. See FAQs for exclusions.
Isn't flying base miles anymore? If I fly 2000 miles as en EXP for $400 shouldn't I get 2000 LPs for the 2000 miles + 400*11 points for the ticket price * elite level= 6,400 LPs....
If I used the branded CC I would get an extra 400 for a total of 6,800.
I would have thought that if I paid $300 for the FC ticket I would get 4000 points from the miles.... At least that is what the website declares on what a mile is, is.
Is that not the case? What is a base mile then? a dollar spent on a ticket?
"Miles you earn" means RDM (or what AA calls "award miles"). You do not earn RDM by distance on AA flights. You earn by fare (11 per dollar for EXP).
