I intentionally look at the drone policy of a resort before deciding if to stay. If they allow them I would simply stay elsewhere.

While I am sure there are many responsible drone flyers out there, even from a distance they can be annoying and at even if not being invasive, it is hard to be sure.

My advice is respect the rules and your fellow guests, if you wish to fly drones pick somewhere that allows it. To me its called being polite and having respect for others.
