Trying to use UA for any portion of a RTW points booking using KrisFlyer is now impossible. The RTW rules state the travel must be in business saver, so if UA removes that concept then RTW is not available for anyone looking to visit the USA.
Singapore has never really provided UA FFers much anyway, in terms of awards or travel benefits. Sort of always been a one-way street. No tears lost here. Not even sure why they're allowed to stay in *A. Still a good airline...
