Hope no one lets this distract them from the fact that these rates are oftentimes much cheaper than what you get from booking through travel agents/FHR. I have advocated for travel agents over FHR on this site in the past. However, after finding out that even the travel agent rates are inflated, I find it hard to justify them unless the difference is like 10%. When the difference is 30%-60%, just buying only the perks you want with the savings is advantageous.
For major hotel chains, there's no code for AAA rates. You just select AAA instead of senior, government, etc when searching.
