Like I said, I have no comment on your time share purchase. Good luck. You did provide unsolicited comments on my business CC strategy btw and I addressed all of them. I have no problem with that as this is a forum where people write comments…. Lol

But again, I don’t have a comment. You already purchased it and it is what it is. I hope it works out.

Also I note that charges made directly at the properties code with the property name (e.g. Hyatt High Sierra), but I can't tell if they receive a bonus.

For St. Regis however did you book your stay at the hotel and then get upgraded to the residences? Or did you book the residences through the Marriott/SPG portal? Nice to hear that it properly coded for Amex. Unfortunately we find that many travel purchases (such as hotel points that are purchased through website) do not properly code for the bonus. And I have rarely had success with Hyatt or Marriott providing EQN for HRC or MVC stays.
Well Marriott Vacation Club owns the HRC brand so… are you saying that Hyatt corporate owns and manages those time shares under Marriott? Hyatt Residence Club is owned by MVC just as STR Residence Club is.

The STR NY (+ the Residence Club) is not owned by Marriott but still coded as Marriot for Amex. I booked directly through the Bonvoy app and received points + EQNs without issue. Ymmv.

Also, not sure what hotel point purchases you’re talking about but many are handled by points.com (such as Hyatt points). It is well known that these will not code as branded hotel spend. It is not a glitch.
