Greetings, first timer here...
Have an award ticket on UA ORD-IAD (XN class - Explorer cardholder) and a revenue ticket TK IAD-TAS ticket (W class). 2 questions:
1) I'm thinking i can check the bags through since XN is not basic economy?
2) if I want to take 2 bags, then will i have to pay for the 2nd bag to UA (even if TK allows 2 free bags) if i'm checking through?

To follow up, UA agent couldn't interline bags due to COVID i imagine, because i had to check-in at IAD (and proof of a negative COVID test). So no go. On the way back, my flight out of TAS was more than 24 hours away from IAD flight at checkin, couldn't interline bags to UA, maybe if it was less I could have. So no go, both ways.
