I (mostly) agree. Take a look at

I say I
mostly agree because I think the ERJs get a bad rap. When they are used on the short flights, they may not be the most compfortable, but they're better than a Saab, so buck up or take the bus. I can't believe UA uses a 737 GRR-ORD, but look where THEY are finacially. And people actually UPGRADE for the
137 mile trip.

As for ERJs on longer routes, i.e. DFW-GRR, if we didn't have the ERJs THERE, we would be connecting though ORD (oh joy!

) and taking a Saab across the lake. And sometimes it's a frequency thing. You can have 2-3 S80 flights a day DFW-LIT or you can have 11 RJ flights. You can't have both.
fredmartens was right about one thing, AA is still
trying to be a for profit corporation.
