Immediate turn in ICN possible given COVID? Considered a transit?
Hey all,
We have a rather unique situation that, because of the need to pick someone up in Seoul, we may need to do an immediate turn at ICN. We don't meet the entry requirements for Seoul. The itinerary is basically North America to Seoul, wait 2 hours, return to North America (the person being picked up would be met airside in the terminal).
Does anyone know if this is possible given Korean entry restrictions because of COVID? Korea states that transiting passengers do not need to meet entry requirements, don't need to be nationals, still need a COVID test (but that's fine) and temperature checks (also fine), but is an immediate turn considered a transfer?
Thanks for any thoughts.
