Either of the Marriotts across from the convention center (Rivercenter or Riverwalk) would be good. The Rivercenter was renovated just before the pandemic started so it'll be a bit more up to date than Riverwalk, but that one has better views if you can get on the side of the building facing west towards the Riverwalk. They share ownership/management so the lounge offerings are almost identical. Don't expect much in the way of upgrades at either.

I would, however, recommend the St Anthony if you can get in for a similar rate and don't mind walking. It is a historic hotel and breakfast for elites is credit to use in the restaurant which has varied in terms of what it covers (12-20, not sure what it is today), but the food is good.
