Thanks, AFAM-DFW! I don’t think I have access to Amex FHR (or do I? I have Premier Rewards Gold)—that breakfast credit would be very nice. There was a promo rate that included a $60/day F&B credit but basically you paid $30/day for it over the rate that we booked with, and I wasn’t sure we’d actually use all of it.

Bummer about the dark rooms. That always annoys me. I remember my first stay at the W in East Midtown (NY) many years ago…I couldn’t find enough lights in the room to comfortably read a book! At least hotels in Vegas should be counted upon to have good-sized windows.
