Depends how you look at it.

With a very narrow view, sure, on any given day the schedule is set and the seat is there whether it's yours or not.

But of course we know schedules rise and fall with demand. If there's less demand for meaningless travel, you could certainly make the case that it's at least directionally correct for less demand to be fulfilled.
