Ended up booking the NoMad Las Vegas--there was some kind of 15% off special, which made the single room rate about $714 all in. We ended up with two singles and a double and I did ask for rooms near each other, which the concierge said they would almost certainly be able to do, so fingers crossed. We have no idea where we will be eating or what show we might see, but the fact that the hotel is (a) much cheaper than others in that review category and (b) 100% smoke-free made it a good choice for us.
I stayed at the NoMad last weekend for the hardware show. Things there were a bit crazy being the weekend of Electric Daisy Carnival. I was upgraded to the Atelier room which was a bit odd with the bathtub in the room. The Nomad halls and my room was a bit dark, nowhere near as bright at the website pictures. Breakfast at Primrose was pretty good and not very crowded at 8am. The casino floor is rather loud but it might be just on weekends.

If you have access to Amex FHR rates, you might check your dates through them also. The FHR rate has a $100 per stay food credit and a $60 per day breakfast credit. The inclusions made the FHR rate a better deal for me.
