Booking the "Prepay Non-refundable Non-changeable, prepay in full" rate today for a stay Oct 27th, it says :

"Cancelling your reservation
Changes to your reservation are not permitted. Please note that you may cancel your reservation for no charge before 11:59 PM local hotel time on 27 October 2021.
After this time, please note that your prepayment for this special rate is non-refundable"

Hence the OPs problem. The "may cancel within 1 day of booking" and "may cancel up to 2 days before the stay" are incompatible if you book the day before. One of these has to take precedence, and by common convention the second overrides the first.
