Uh... no.

Unless your ticket is issued without the "Not Valid After" date on the ticket, there really isnt' any 'legal' way to extend it beyond the one year from date of departure.

I have on occasion had my tickets re-issued without the NVA dates (mainly due to a lazy agent) and I seem to have been able to extend the lifespan of my paper ticket though I could not reissue it anymore. Make sure ticket is left open - and on paper tickets. However, most airlines do put in the NVA dates now.

But with e-tickets coming fevertly on line... it will be becoming more difficult to do this.
