I have a handful of consistently clean and comfortable properties I stay at for work on the west coast, but they are not the sort of properties I would send someone for leisure. The suburban extended stay in ft Myers is one of my favorite 8k properties during the off-season - love even a tiny kitchen! - but that is decidedly not what you're likely to be looking for. They're too pricey in points during season for me.

I know there is a well reviewed Ascend Collection property down in Punta Gorda that commands 25k-30k/nt year round - makes it a terrible deal in the off season but a pretty good deal when things start picking up. I haven't stayed there myself, and have never visited the area for leisure, so I'm afraid I can't be any more helpful than that =(. Good luck!
